Emmy Award nominee Michael Whittaker is a unique hybrid of his diverse upbringing. Growing up in Los Angeles California, he grew up listening to a diverse culture of music. At a young age, his training on piano began in both jazz and classical music. By his early twenties, he had already begun to mold his own identifiable sound and was one of Los Angeles’ most sought after sidemen.

After attending UCLA’s school of music and majoring in film scoring, Michael has utilized his classical training and knowledge of orchestration to compose over 300 television episodes and TV movies including the popular Power Rangers. Currently Michael is independently scoring and producing for companies like Disney, Sony, NBC and Lions Gate Films. In 2011 his theme was chosen as the main theme of the new Disney Family Movies channel. His orchestration and keyboard skill have won many awards such as the Telly award for his score to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series, Bank of America Musical Achievement award, International Association of Jazz Educators player excellence award, and the Clarence Brown Memorial scholarship for jazz.
Michael’s experience in many styles, has allowed him to work with many notable artists including Lionel Richie, Jimmy Kimmel Live house band, Paulina Rubio, Wayman Tisdale, 98 Degrees, Cake, Boyd Tinsley from the Dave Mathews Band, Brenda Russell, and many others…

After studying with Lamont Johnson in Detroit, and Ray Peterson in Ft Lauderdale/Miami, Abe moved to Nashville, quickly becoming one of the most sought after bassists on the Nashville Blues and Rock scene.

Paul Warren was the touring lead guitarist for the English rock singer Rod Stewart before moving to Nashville from Los Angeles.Ca.
Paul was born on December 22, 1953 in Garden City, Michigan, to Pearl Elwanda Gribble and Walter Wayne Warren. He started to play guitar at twelve years old, and by seventeen, he was discovered by Norman Whitfield of Motown Records. Soon after, he became a regular session player for the famed studios. The first song he ever played on was “Papa was a Rolling Stone” by The Temptations. That year the album won five Grammy Awards. After playing on numerous albums, he became popular, and when Motown moved offices to California they paid for him to move so they could continue using his services as a session player. Paul was also a member of Tina Turners band on the famed private dancer tour as well as touring with the legendary Joe Cocker as lead guitarist.

Roguie-Ray-LaMontangeBenefit for Legendary singer/ songwriter and harmonica player, Roguie Ray Lamontagne, is recovering from a horrific motorcycle wreak that took place on Saturday, April 11th. June 20th, 2015 in Nashville, TN at the Twin Kegs 2 (the old Smokehouse) 327 Hermitage Ave, Nashville, TN 37210  from 2pm-till.

He was sent to Skyline Medical for many injuries and underwent 2 surgeries on April 12th. Due to the accident Roguie has no transportation, unable to play harmonica (due to his crushed left wrist) and will begin to receive doctor bills soon. I believe anyone who knows Roguie Ray Lamontagne understands that he is the first person to begin a support system, pull together a benefit or anything he can do to help others in need and I believe that now it is our turn! Roguie Ray needs help from his friends, family, musical tribe and more. A benefit is being put together for him on June 20th, 2015 in Nashville, TN at the Twin Kegs 2 (the old Smokehouse) from 2pm-till. This will be a perfect time to come out and show your support and love to everyones favorite; blues harmonica playin’, red sox lovin’, exaggerated story tellin’ guy.
